Fried Chicken & Tequila

I'm supposed to be clearing my mind. The tequila isn't really helping. I'm drunk.

CLUTCH

Went to see Clutch last night at Social. It was awesome! I'd never been to the venue before so I didn't know what to expect. It was so small that everyone was close to the stage. I think we were about 8 ft away from Clutch. The opening bands weren't bad either. Clutch was amazing, as ususal. I love the cow bell. :) Yerty had to remind me that this was the fifth time I'd seen Clutch. I was thinking it was only three. That's a lot. I think they played about two hours. We didn't leave the place 'til about 1:30.

Robin, how did I get out of MI with out any pictures of you? I've just been looking through my photos and I don't have nearly enough of the people from BCI. I'm coming to town in may and I expect to get some when I'm there. :)

Today's drive-thru experiences

Placing an order at the McDonald's window.
Me: "Do you have shamrock shakes yet?"
Employee: Blank stare, "We have eggnog."
Me: "Do you know when you are going get shamrock shakes?"
Employee: Blank stare.
So I'm thinking maybe they don't have them in Florida.
Me: "Do you have them here?"
Employee: Blank stare.
Me: "Small coke, please."

Next at Taco Bell. My total was $5.97 so I gave her $10.02. She looked a little confused. As she is handing me my drink she asks, "Would you like any drink...I mean sauce?"
Me: "No thanks."
The next thing she says to me as she is handing me my change is, "Would you like any sauce?"
Me: "No thanks." At this point I throw the food at Yerty and speed forward because I am about to burst out into uncontrollable laughter. I think I threw her off from the beginning by giving her $10.02.

Keep in mind I would not normally laugh at the drive-thru people but we had just been to McDonalds not ten minutes earlier asking about the shamrock shakes and then the Taco Bell lady was confused too and I was just thinking what a crazy day for drive-thru. It struck me as funny and I just lost control.

Yerty told me to say that about him being a dick.

Ok...Yerty and I had related dreams Saturday night. It was really weird. He had a dream about Macaulay Culkin's character in the movie "Saved!" and I had a dream with Macaulay Culkin and Patrick Fugit (who was also in Saved!) the same night. Yerty and I went over everything we had watched and seen the day before to see if there was something that would have made us have dreams about the same thing and we couldn't come up with anything. It was weird.

Janice, I know you'll appreciate this one. I was eating tacos for dinner last night and they were very messy. I said to Yerty, "My taco squirted everywhere." LOL. As I was saying it I realized what I was saying and I couldn't help but laugh. It was so funny. Well, Yerty and I thought so anyway.

Went to Spatz last night for my birthday. I think everyone had a good time. I did. I feel like crap today. Feels like someone is stabbing me behind my right eye with a dull knife. But it was fun.

Holy crap...where have I been?

The last time I posted (other than a few minutes ago) was on January 14. This month has flown by. I guess I've sort of had a lot going on. Work is starting to get slow now though. I hope we pick up again or it's going to be a bad start for this year. I have a new responsibility at work. I have to be TJ's (the president's son) admin assistant. No pressure. So far it hasn't been bad. I have accomplished everything quickly and easily. And hopefully...correctly. I haven't heard any complaints yet. :)

The people that run my apartment complex are a bunch of imbeciles. It's saturday...I woke up this morning at 7:45 to a jackhammer breaking up the sidewalk outside my window. WTF? If the sidewalk needs to be fixed do it during the week. Lucky for me, I went to bed early so I'm not too tired. Unlucky for Yerty, he went to bed late. He's back asleep now so I guess the concrete work wasn't that much of a bother for him. Oh yeah...our toilet has been running constently and leaking on our floor for about two weeks. We've told the apartment people multiple times but it's still not fixed. I guess when it floods the people below us they'll do something about it.

Yerty and I rode our bikes a long way today. I'm guessing about 15 miles round trip. I'm tired.

I've been having weird, bad dreams recently. I can't really remember what happens but it is something involving the people at work. I'm confused. I really need to get a life. I have had nothing interesting to post for weeks now.
